In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 separating one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
