The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 not a flippant jest. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
