The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
