۞ He it is Who created you from a single being, and of the same (kind) did He make his mate, that he might incline to her; so when he covers her she bears a light burden, then moves about with it; but when it grows heavy, they both call upon Allah, their Lord: If Thou givest us a good one, we shall certainly be of the grateful ones. 189 When they were given a healthy son, they began to love him as much as they loved God. God is too exalted to be loved equally to anything else. 190 Do they (the disbelievers) ascribe (false deities) that which do not create anything, but are themselves created? 191 and neither are able to give them succour nor can succour themselves, 192 If you call them to guidance they will not follow you. It is all the same if you call them or hold your tongue. 193 Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allah are slaves like you. So call upon them and let them answer you if you are truthful. 194 Do they have feet to walk on, or hands to hold with, or eyes to see and ears to hear with? Say to them: "Call your compeers, and work out a plot against me, and do not give me time. 195 “Indeed my Protector is Allah Who has sent down the Book; and He befriends the righteous.” 196 While those you beseech apart from Him cannot help you or even help themselves. 197 And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking towards you, yet they do not see. 198 MAKE due allowance for man's nature, and enjoin the doing of what is right; and leave alone all those who choose to remain ignorant. 199 And if a slander from the devil wound thee, then seek refuge in Allah. Lo! He is Hearer, Knower. 200 If the God-fearing are instigated by any suggestion of Satan, they instantly become alert, whereafter they clearly perceive the right way. 201 and their brothers they lead on into error, then they stop not short. 202 When you do not bring them a verse, they say, 'Why have you not chosen one' Say: 'I follow only what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (Koran) is a veritable proof from your Lord, guidance and mercy for people who believe' 203 When the Koran is recited, listen to it in silence in order that Allah has mercy upon you. 204 And bethink thyself of thy Sustainer humbly and with awe, and without raising thy voice, at morn and at evening; and do not allow thyself to be heedless. 205 Indeed those who are with your Lord are not conceited towards worshipping Him, and they proclaim His Purity and it is to Him they prostrate.
