And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
