Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
