(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 And worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong night. 26 Those people [who are unmindful of God] aspire for immediate gains, and put behind them a Heavy Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
