Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 that hide, 16 by the night swarming, 17 The rising dawn, 18 Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
