The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
