We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left them for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his memory for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
