We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
