The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
