The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER Mount Sinai! 1 and the Book inscribed 2 on wide-open scrolls. 3 And [by] the frequented House 4 and by the lofty vault of the sky, 5 and the sea that is full 6 Most surely the punishment of your Lord will come to pass; 7 and no one will be able to prevent it. 8 The day the sky will tremble, 9 and the mountains shall violently fly about. 10 Woe will be to those who rejected the Truth 11 Who play in talk of grave matters; 12 On that day they will be violently pushed into the fire 13 (And it is said unto them): This is the Fire which ye were wont to deny. 14 Is this, then, any feat of magic or are you unable to see? 15 “Enter it – now whether you patiently bear it or are impatient – it is the same for you; for you is a recompense only for what you used to do.” 16 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and bliss 17 Rejoicing in that which their Lord hath vouchsafed unto them; and their Lord will protect them from the torment of the Flame. 18 (And it is said unto them): Eat and drink in health (as a reward) for what ye used to do, 19 They will recline on couches arranged in rows and We shall couple them with maidens with large, lovely eyes. 20 And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds. 21 We shall provide them with fruits and the meat of the kind which they desire. 22 They will exchange cups of wine free of (incitement to) pleasantry or sin. 23 ۞ They will be waited upon by immortal youths, like pearls hidden in their shells. 24 And some of them shall advance towards others questioning each other. 25 They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah]. 26 But Allah has been gracious to us and He has saved us from the punishment of the hot wind: 27 “Indeed we used to worship Him in our previous life; indeed He only is the Benign, the Most Merciful.” 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
