Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
