Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
