3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 He then shot a glance at the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
