The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
