The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
