The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
