Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
