Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 pursuing a straight way 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
