۞ Numerous are the angels in the heavens; yet their intercession shall be of no avail, except in regard to those whom He grants the leave of intercession and whose plea He is pleased to accept. 26 Only those who do not believe in the life hereafter call the angels, females. They have no knowledge about it. 27 Yet of this they have no knowledge, they follow mere conjecture, and conjecture does not help against truth. 28 Therefore turn away from whoever has turned away from Our remembrance and has desired only the life of this world. 29 That is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided. 30 And Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may recompense those who do evil for that which they worked and reward those who do good with good. 31 Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him. 32
