The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
