Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
