Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
