Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
