T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 When he came near the fire he was called, "Moses, 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 'Why, it is my staff,' said Moses. 'I lean upon it, and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep; other uses also I find in it. 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running along. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. 24
