Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
