And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
