The Fig (Al-Teen)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the fig and the olive, 1 and the Mount Sinai 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), 4 Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, 5 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. 6 Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
