And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
