Kingship (Al-Mulk)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in whose Hand is the Kingdom, He is powerful over all things, 1 He who has created death as well as life, so that He might put you to a test [and thus show] which of you is best in conduct, and [make you realize that] He alone is almighty, truly forgiving. 2 Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder? 3 Then return your gaze once more and yet again, your gaze comes back to you dazzled, and tired. 4 We have decked the lowest heavens with torches. With these torches We have stoned the devils and We have prepared for them the torment of hell. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort. 6 When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up, 7 as though it will burst with rage. Every time a multitude is cast into it, its keepers will ask them: “Did no warner come to you?” 8 They shall say: Yea! indeed there came to us a warner, but we rejected (him) and said: Allah has not revealed anything, you are only in a great error. 9 And they will say, “Had we listened or understood, we would not have been among the people of hell.” 10 So now they admit their sins! Therefore accursed be the people of hell! 11 Surely those who fear their Lord in the Unseen -- there awaits them forgiveness and a great wage. 12 (Whether you) speak in secret or aloud, He knows the innermost of the chests. 13 Shall not He who hath created know? And He is the Subtile, the Aware. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
