When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 let the Children of Israel go with us!'" 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Moses replied: "I committed that act erringly. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure. 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
