▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that is on the earth is doomed to perish, 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten copper shall be loosed against you, and you shall not be helped. 35 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 36 When the heaven splits asunder and turns crimson, like red leather. 37 which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 38 On that Day there will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. 39 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 42 This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie: 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 45
