Nay! By the moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 Warn the men. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens they will question 40 From the guilty. 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
