Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 And those that revive by quickening, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 And those that bring down the Reminder 32 To end all argument or to warn. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be you and the earlier generations. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

Practice memorizing the Holy Quran (Hifz) at different levels, from beginner to expert. The practice pages are designed to hide certain words based on the level and are adorned with beautiful colors to enhance learning. Tap or click on any hidden word to reveal it.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
