The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
