The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
