Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 For all their deeds. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
