Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
