T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 And if thou say anything aloud, [He hears it] since, behold, He knows [even] the secret [thoughts of man] as well as all that is yet more hidden [within him]. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 AND HAS the story of Moses ever come within thy ken? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
