The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 And We sent down from the heaven water in measure, and We caused it to settle in the earth; and verily to take it away We are Able. 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
