We rescued the Israelites from the humiliating torment 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 So bring our fathers [back], if what you say is true. 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,- 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
