Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
