Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know all that you do: 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
