The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the fig and the olive 1 and by the Mount Sinai, 2 And by this land made safe; 3 Surely We created man of the best stature 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most just of judges? 8
