The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
