Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
