And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
