The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 It is the star that pierces through [life's] darkness: 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 it is not a jest. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
