The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
